The above is a very critical piece of our business. We’ve had several planners ask if we provide support with working with venues, advising them of possible event supplier partners, and giving them the ability to provide feedback for all to learn from. Our answer is yes…that’s what we do. We are going to put in more messaging on the site to support this fact.
We are continually enhancing the site based on feedback, and plan to add many new mechanisms. You will see a great deal more come from Pogby as we gain credibility, expand inventory, and get more feedback.

Pogby would like to thank American Express for inviting us to their AHORA Expo at the corporate headquarters in downtown Manhattan. The turnout was fantastic and we had the opportunity to talk with a lot of professional planners about what we do and feedback on what they would like to see from us in the future.

We’ve been extraordinarily pleased with the interest from partners eager to see us expand in the meeting and event rental space. The varying types of partners are quite impressive, and the discussions are quite consistent. Everyone wants to move the arduous task of booking a venue to the web.
What are people looking for?

- Pricing,
- Reviews,
- Availability,
- and, most importantly, the ability to make a booking rapidly.
You will be seeing a great deal more from Pogby in the coming months. We will be announcing new partnerships and working closely with the professional meeting and event planners (who are also our partners).

We are extremely excited to have 30 venues on board with Pogby. Not to mention the number in the pipeline. Feedback from venues and planners has been great! Most recently, we received inquiries to sign up from major event facilities in Providence, RI, Dallas, TX, Chicago, IL, Dayton, OH, Nashville, TN and more.
Wanted to thank Meetings and Conventions Magazine for the tremendous article they put out on us. It further establishes our credibility and has been a great support.

Well, I am very pleased with the number of venues signing up to Pogby! Our new search and maps on the website is making finding the right place for your event even easier.
One of the most interesting things I’ve come across is the variety of packages that venues offer. I had no idea you could rent out a bart in Manhattan for $350…and that includes a keg of beer…at Village Pourhouse. Or, the ability rent out a stage at New World Theaters for $1000 for half a day. For $800, you can rent out a private event space at Studio 26, and get 2 hours of an open bar for $25/guest. All kinds of offerings are out there, and it is rewarding to know we are bringing it into one central place to find, compare and book your meeting or event.
Venues are eager for business. It is rewarding to know that we are connecting the dots between them and the planners looking to have a memorable event experience for their guests.

Great strides for us this past month. We’ve gone from 5 to 13 venues Live on Pogby! And, a list of 20 more registered. With the great interest, it has rapidly made us realize we need to making “finding” a venue easier on Pogby.
We plan to release a preliminary search to our friends out there in the coming week. You will be able to view Pogby venues on a map and in search results, select venue type, narrow down results (though few right now) on capacity, and more.
Very excited to get this out and can’t wait to hear feedback. We have a great deal more we plan to release with search in the coming months, but wanted to give a head’s up of what we are planning to do today.
